Dear Campers and Users of the Leisure Facility,
The Camping Kollersee team welcomes you and wishes you a pleasant stay. To ensure that all guests feel comfortable, please observe the following site rules:
Scope: The site regulations apply to all camping guests (permanent and day guests) and their visitors. Access to the site is generally only permitted to persons with appropriate access authorization, i.e. after proper written registration or a corresponding plot contract. Access to the site is permitted in the entrance area next to the entrance barrier, at the bistro, in the middle of the site and at the biotope. Climbing over the fences is strictly prohibited and will result in at least a ban from the site. By entering the site, every guest or visitor acknowledges these site regulations and the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) without reservation. The site regulations and GTC are posted in the business premises.
Transient campers are short-term users of a plot, with or without a caravan or with a motorhome under 4.5 tons. A maximum of 1 vehicle per plot is permitted for all camping guests. A day visitor is someone who visits a permanent or transient camper and enters the site without wanting to stay overnight – fees may apply. An overnight guest is someone who visits a permanent or transient camper and stays overnight with them without having rented their own plot. According to the fee schedule, a per-person fee must be paid. Visitors and overnight guests who are not transient campers are not allowed to enter the site with their vehicle. The access authorization can be checked by the site staff at any time.
- The sale of goods, hawking and holding advertising events or the like is prohibited on the entire site. During the opening hours of the reception, a small shop is available for shopping.
- The use of the leisure facility is only permitted on the designated paths; one-way streets must be followed. Use is expressly at your own risk and is only permitted for permanent or transient campers (not for their guests) and may only be done at walking speed. This applies to all vehicles of any kind, including the use of (electric) bicycles and other vehicles powered electrically, non-electrically or by motor. Flying over the site with model airplanes, drones, etc. is generally prohibited. Motor vehicles (cars) may only be parked in the designated motor vehicle parking areas (chargeable parking lot). This also applies to vehicles not powered electrically or by motor (e.g. trailers). Exceptions apply to permanent campers and are regulated in the rental agreements. Vehicles not parked properly will be towed away at the owner’s expense.
- Quiet times. From 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM are quiet times on the leisure facility. The entrance barrier is closed between 10:30 PM and 7:30 AM; entry is not possible during this time. The exit barrier is never locked. Entry with two-wheeled vehicles is only possible during reception opening hours, as the barrier for two-wheeled vehicles is operated manually.
- Dogs and other pets of any kind, size and breed must be kept on a leash. Letting animals of any kind run free, as well as their presence on the bathing beach or in the sanitary facilities, is prohibited, unless there is a written permission from the site management. The respective island regulations must be observed for dogs. Pet owners and persons who have animals in their actual custody are obliged to prevent any disturbance to the general public (barking or similar) as well as site contamination, whether small or large. Exceptions apply to guard and watchdogs of the site operator.
- Staying, bathing and other leisure activities on the site, the parking lot, on the beach and in the water are always expressly at your own risk. The beach is not guarded at any time, there is no beach or bathing supervision.
- The beach, in its entire length, analogous to the campsite area, is owned by the site and is exclusively for recreation. This section of the beach is a family beach where appropriate swimwear must be worn. Windsurfing and kitesurfing are only permitted here on days when there is no swimming activity. Launching objects exceeding an area of 4 sqm into the water, as well as ‘parking’ them on the beach, is not permitted. This applies in particular to catamarans, sailboats, and large inflatable objects. The site operator may issue further rules & prohibitions on the beach.
In general, the principle of considerate behavior applies. Any commercial activity, including the commercial rental of water sports equipment, is prohibited, unless there is a written permission from the site operator. This does not apply to the SUP and canoe rental stations affiliated with the campsite. It is expressly pointed out that no liability or traffic safety is assumed. In particular, there is no traffic safety obligation for the site operator. The use of the beach is generally only permitted from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Disturbing persons may be prohibited from using the beach at any time.
Access to the beach is either via the public, asphalted access road (to the right of the entrance) or for campsite guests (and only for these!) at the ‘Biotop’ (east exit) or in the middle of the site or at the bistro – see plan. In order not to disturb the campers living there, we ask for silence when leaving or entering the campsite. The use of the accesses from the campsite to the beach is only permitted to campsite guests. These accesses are closed at the latest when darkness falls, the campsite can then only be entered via the entrance at the reception.
On the beach area, the erection of tents, mobile accommodations, barriers, fences and other facilities, as well as the digging of trenches and the excavation of holes is prohibited. The bringing of chemical or other liquids or substances not intended for human consumption, as well as the handling of electricity, cables, ropes and cords, as well as the bringing and operation of power generators and other machines is prohibited. Any kind of open fire is prohibited. Playing music is only allowed if no other beach visitors feel disturbed.
On the beach and in the water of the shore area, the operation of model airplanes or watercraft is prohibited. This also applies to drones. In general, due to nature conservation, a ban on motorized objects of any kind applies to the entire Kollersee. For dogs, our beach section, analogous to the campsite area, is prohibited. Accordingly, riding, carrying out or bathing horses or similar is not allowed.
- The use of sanitary facilities on the site is not public and only permitted to persons who are properly registered. Unauthorized entry to the sanitary facilities is trespassing. Toilets are accessible around the clock; however, washrooms only until max. 11 PM. Rinsing dishes is prohibited in the sanitary rooms. The use of the sanitary facilities is always at your own risk. Naturally, there may be an increased risk of slipping in sanitary facilities. Children under 6 years of age may only enter the sanitary buildings when accompanied by an adult. We ask for careful treatment and the greatest possible cleanliness! The use of the public toilets (next to the bistro) is only permitted if the corresponding fee has been paid, if such a fee is required.
- Protective structures: To secure the local population of various animals, protective structures have been erected, including lizard mounds & deadwood piles. These species protection structures must not be entered or altered. Within a radius of at least 50 cm, no shade-providing plantings or facilities may be placed or erected.
- Barbecuing / Fire regulations: Lighting open fires is strictly prohibited on the entire leisure facility including the beach. On the campsite, barbecuing with gas, electric or lotus grills is generally permitted, provided that a minimum distance to the ground of 50 cm and also a sufficient safety distance to tents, caravans, mobile homes as well as houses and vehicles etc. is maintained. In case of extreme drought (risk of fire), there may be further restrictions. Any barbecuing and open fires are expressly prohibited on the beach.
- Waste disposal: On the entire leisure facility including the beach, the depositing or leaving of objects of any kind (rubbish, oil, bottles, food scraps, newspapers, diapers etc. etc.) is strictly prohibited. The same applies to the emptying of bottles, cans and other containers. Corresponding facilities are available for waste, chemical toilet and waste water disposal, which may only be used by campsite guests. The waste container(s) are only for normal household waste/glass waste. Green waste is disposed of separately behind the transformer house. All other waste as well as bulky items are ‘hazardous waste‘ or ‘bulky waste‘ and may not be placed in the waste containers, but must be disposed of privately. Violations will cause higher costs for waste disposal and will be charged to the polluter or lead to termination.
- The leisure facility and the beach are for recreation. Even outside the official quiet times, it is not permitted to hold celebrations, festivals, gatherings, parties and other company or private events that are likely to disturb the general public and in particular the neighborhood. Exceptions require the approval of the site management. Noise is generally to be avoided. Sound carriers may only be played on the campsite at a volume that does not disturb the neighbors; this may be less than the so-called room volume. During the quiet times (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM – 7:30 AM), the playing of sound carriers outdoors is generally prohibited. Ball games, especially football, are not permitted on the entire site.
- The cleaning, maintenance and repair of vehicles of any kind on the site is prohibited.
- On the campsite, the fencing in of plots, the erection of fences or barriers as well as the digging of trenches etc. is prohibited. Exceptions are regulated in the permanent rental agreements. Tent pegs, cords etc. must be handled in such a way that no one is endangered.
- Right of access: The site staff is entitled at any time to check the access authorization (keys, magnetic cards, receipts, tickets, etc.) and other authorization documents for control purposes. The instructions of the site staff must be followed.
- Right of residence: The leisure facility is only for the recreation of authorized persons. Beach guests are only considered authorized if they behave properly. Requests from the site staff must be followed. A ban from the site may be issued for the beach area in the event of violations, which will be reported as trespassing if disregarded. The offense of aggravated and intentional trespassing applies if the person(s) concerned do not leave the site immediately after being handed these site regulations.
Entering the campsite is not permitted to unauthorized persons – violations will be reported as trespassing. Guests of permanent campers or similar who have not been properly registered are also considered unauthorized persons. The transfer of access authorizations (e.g. transponder for the sanitary building or similar) may be a reason for immediate termination of the rental agreement.
- Safety: Staying in nature can involve risks (e.g. storm, hail, falling branches, etc.) for which neither liability nor compensation is provided. Every site user is encouraged to respect the environment; in case of misuse, the polluter is fully liable. At the lake, there are sometimes more severe wind conditions than most residents/guests are used to. Awnings, garden furniture, etc. must therefore be additionally secured with so-called storm straps.
The site is video-monitored in various places for security reasons. The corresponding recordings are stored for a maximum of 48 hours in accordance with the statutory provisions. If internet access is used via the site’s own technology, this can be recorded and stored in accordance with the statutory provisions.
- Liability: For justified claims for damages against users, regardless of whether they are permanent or only temporary users, the operator is only liable to the extent of the business liability insurance.
- These site regulations are effective immediately; they can be updated and changed at any time.
